xEdu Spring '17 Program Kick Off

After a long selection period, we at xEdu, have finally gathered a new batch of great EdTech companies to start off the Spring '17 program. On March 2, from the early morning to the late night, the teams were getting to know each other, learning about the program opportunities and simply having fun.

Ice-breaking meeting started with a motivational intro from xEdu team, partners and investors. "We believe in you, in your success — that is why you are here. And we are happy to invite you to xEdu family," welcomed the new start-ups Antti Korhonen, CEO at xEdu. "Our common mission here is to make a positive social impact," added Fabian Sepulveda, Partner at Courage Ventures.

Team building? No — team cooking!

To establish a positive start of the acceleration journey the party moved to Nokka restaurant for an intensive team-building session, designed by Esteve Pannetier and Anu Timmerbacka. The start-ups worked together as one unit making food, organising activities, taking reflection sessions. These 'team cooking' activities have set a perfect mood in the squad and charged the start-ups with positive energy for a long and productive acceleration ahead.
