NextEdu is the international acceleration programme dedicated to startup in the Education Technology sector.

Founded in Turin in 2022, the programme supports early-stage EdTech startup through an intensive acceleration journey focused on product development, validation and market readiness.

NextEdu is supported by Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, the impact-oriented entity of Fondazione CRT, and by xEdu, the Finnish accelerator for EdTech startup, in collaboration with OGR Torino, the innovation hub of Fondazione CRT.

The programme is designed to strengthen the EdTech ecosystem by fostering collaboration between founders, educators, industry experts and institutional partners. Each edition brings together a selected cohort of startup from different countries and backgrounds, encouraging the exchange of perspectives and practices across borders.

The 2025 edition focuses on a broad range of themes related to educational innovation, including emerging learning technologies, artificial intelligence applied to teaching, experiential and adaptive learning models, microlearning and blended learning, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), accessibility and neurodiversity, corporate training and talent development, as well as alternative financial models aimed at improving access to education.

Particular attention is also given to solutions addressing reskilling and upskilling, in response to the growing demand for new digital and professional competencies.

The 2025 programme runs from October to February and is hosted at OGR Tech in Turin. During the four-month acceleration period, participating startup take part in a structured programme combining mentoring, workshops, peer exchange and engagement with the wider innovation ecosystem.
