Mightifier licensed to the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children's books

xEdu acceleration program alumni, Mighty United, today announced that it has licensed the award-winning Mightifier app to Scholastic, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books. Scholastic will make Mightifier available to the company’s vast network of schools throughout Asia.

Mightifier has been shown to help students master social and emotional skills, leading to a more collaborative classroom environment, a decrease in bullying and a greater student focus on learning. The program is based on positive peer-to-peer feedback of individual strengths, helping to foster more positive relationships in classes that participate.

“Social and emotional learning is strongly connected to academic performance and is vital to the success of 21st Century kids,” said Selina Lee, Vice President, Scholastic Asia. With the vast reach of Scholastic across Asia, we will be able to help many more teachers develop their students’ social and emotional skills which leads to better academic and cognitive growth.”

After graduating from xEdu Spring'16 acceleration program Mightifier has proven to be a real high-flier! The Mighty team won the Creative Business Cup finals in Finland and will represent its home country in the Creative Business Cup Global Finals in November in Copenhagen. In August 2017 Mightifier was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award. The complete list of achievements and awards is too long for this article, but we surely can say that with this cooperation Mightifier is one step closer to its ultimate goal which is "to be sure all young people know that they matter and are valued,” as Mervi Pänkäläinen, Mightifier's CEO noted.
