NextEdu: a European collaboration driving EdTech innovation

At the heart of NextEdu lies a unique European partnership that connects the strength of Finland’s EdTech expertise with the innovation ecosystem of Italy. Powered by xEdu, with the generous support of Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, and hosted at the iconic OGR Torino, NextEdu is more than an acceleration programme: it is a bridge where international EdTech startups can thrive.

The Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, an impact-oriented entity of Fondazione CRT, has been contributing to the economic and social development of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta since 2007 through social impact investments in the field of innovation, targeting the business world and initiatives for urban and territorial regeneration. By supporting NextEdu, the Foundation reaffirms its mission: turning innovation into a lever for both social progress and economic growth.

OGR Torino, the hub of Fondazione CRT, is a unique centre for culture and innovation in Europe, dedicated to artistic and musical, technological and entrepreneurial experimentation. Former late 19th century train repair workshops, now an industrial archaeological heritage site, it stands in the heart of Turin on an area of 35,000 square metres to activate new horizons for collaboration, creativity and conviviality.

For NextEdu, OGR Torino is more than a venue: it is a living ecosystem where startups can test, collaborate, and grow. By combining the international expertise of xEdu with the vision, the generous support of Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT and the infrastructure of OGR Torino, NextEdu offers startups a unique opportunity: to grow within a European hub that connects local strength with global reach. This is what makes NextEdu a truly international bridge: where ideas cross borders, teams grow, and educational innovation scales.

⏳ Applications for NextEdu 2025 are open until 22 September.
